LOCAL AUTHOR BOOK FAIR: Meet and greet local authors from 11:00am – 2:00pm in the Main Library Auditorium.

Authors will read from their latest works, answer questions, and sign books. Books will be available for purchase at each author’s table.

FOUND POETRY WORKSHOP:  Local poet Cat Russell will run this workshop on the craft of found poetry. After a short introduction to this form of literary collage, participants will use notebooks and craft materials to create unique pieces of art.

2023 Author Bio: Cat Russell shares her life with her high school sweetheart, their son, and another ferocious creature in the wilds of Ohio while writing stories, composing poetry, and learning more about the craft every day. Her work has been published in print and online, and she is the author of four books: Soul Picked Clean (March 2019),  An Optimist’s Journal of the End of Days and Other Stories (August 2020),  Pinholes: Traveling through the Curtain of the Night (November 2021), and her latest poetry collection, Kaleidoscope, published September 2022 via Venetian Spider Press.
